Atul Das heads Corporate Strategy & Business Development. He has been with ZEE since September 1998 and handles corporate strategy including activities such as alliances, mergers and acquisitions, business planning and investor relations. Atul is an MBA with over 17 years of experience in corporate finance, strategy, planning and investment banking. Having started his career with United Breweries Group as a Management Trainee, he was involved in corporate and financial planning as well as treasury. He then moved to the investment banking industry where, for more than four years, he was involved in investment research and advisory activities as an Investment Analyst with the Lloyds Group. Atul has held various positions within Essel Group and has rich experience in corporate M&A, fund raising and business restructuring across content and distribution business including Direct to Home (DTH), Cable Distribution and Broadcasting.
