Zee Cafe reaches out to more than 15,000 youth in Malhar-2012!!!

Zee Cafe had partnered with the renowned, inter - college youth festival, Malhar -2012.

The Malhar Festival, celebrated annually by St. Xaviers College in Mumbai over a period of three days. The event scheduled 17-19th August  witnessed followers and participants from across various colleges in India.

The festival is run completely by the students of St. Xavier's College, with some 1200 volunteers involved. It draws 30,000 student participants and audience to the College Campus annually.Each year, the festival follows a specific theme. The theme for the year 2011 was Labyrinth. The theme for the year 2012 was "Malhar Local". This is a play on the city of Mumbai's backbone... The local transport. The railways.

Zee Café  zeroed down Malhar -2012 as an ideal location to interact with the potential audience and occupy their mind share with a lot of 'Bazinga' and excitement.

Keeping the content of The Big Bang Theory in mind, the interaction had to be based and benchmarked at a much higher intellectual level.

The participants were challenged to solve a block puzzle which was based on one of the most adored characters of the show 'Sheldon Cooper'. The participants had to come up with the solution within a stipulated time period and based on their performance were gratified with exclusive, The Big Bang Theory - Season 5 merchandise like Bazinga T-shirts & key chains.

Also, participants shouting “Bazinga” loudest and for the longest possible time, won The Big Bang Theory goodies for themselves.

The branded T-shirts were an absolute rage amongst the attendants who simply loved its bling and Sheldon's “Bazinga” written on it.

Zee Studio photo –op standies at the venue, became centre of attraction for many. The message on the standee; “Click a picture with your superstar upload it on Facebook, tag Zee Studio and win exciting prizes”  triggered many patrons to pose… The various activities could reach out to more than 15,000 youngsters.

The interaction turned out to be a complete success amongst the participants; it not only appealed to the existing fans but also managed to create new followers with the show who were already impatient to get a glimpse of it on Zee Café.
