Zee Cafe ruling the English GEC genre, yet again

Zee Cafe rules the roost, yet again!! Zee Cafe leads the English GEC genre in both C&S and Digital TG with 3.4 and 6.4 GRPs respectively; leaving its closest competitors far behind with 2.9(AXN - C&S) and 5.5 GRP's (Star World - Digital TG).

With increase in time spent by 6.7 mins, Zee Café scores the highest time spent amongst its players with 18.4 mins (C&S). Also, there is 59% growth in C&S time spent (TSPV in mins) and 39% growth in digital TG.

Zee Café, the English general entertainment channel of Zee Network, on an average is leading the English GEC genre with 3.7 GRP's for last 5 weeks.(Source: TAM, 5 Metros, CS AB 15-44,Wk 30 to 34).

Zee Café claims the highest share of female audiences (40% with 9 GRP's); the closest competitors lag behind with 26% (Star World with 5.8 GRP's) and 14%(Comedy Central with 3.2 GRP's) in terms of the market share. (Source - TAM, 5 Metros, CS F AB 15-24, Week 34).

Shows like Just for Laughs, The Mentalist, Make it or Break it, America's Funniest Home Videos have been the top performing shows for Zee Café.

The Mentalist, is an American police procedural television series, it  follows  Patrick  Jane  a  well –known  psychic who  becomes an independent consultant for the California  Bureau of Investigation (CBI),  he  helps  solve intriguing cases  and has an incredible  track record for solving serious crimes. After a serial killer named Red John murdered Patrick Jane's wife and daughter, Jane dedicated his life to hunting down and killing Red John. To that end he gave up his lucrative pretense of being a psychic and joined the California Bureau of Investigation (CBI) as a consultant to the team responsible for investigating the Red John case, led by Senior Agent Teresa Lisbon. Using Jane's exceptional gift for observation and his mentalist tricks, the team is able to close an unprecedented number of cases, but Jane's unconventional and often outright illegal methods also bring much censure down on Lisbon's head, making his assistance both a blessing and a curse. Make It or Break It, is an American television drama series that focuses on the lives of teen gymnasts who strive to make it to the Olympic Games. The series was inspired by Touchstone's 2006 comedy film, Stick It. An ABC Family show, nominated for 3 teen choice awards in 2012 and 2 nominations at the 2011 Teen Choice awards.
