Zee Cinema is credited with being the first television channel in India that explored avenues in new media like online and mobile gaming. It released this idea with the film 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi', incorporating a break slot called 'Propose to Priyanka'. This move made history. It is considered to be a path-breaking format innovation in the business of movie airing on TV. Zee Cinema was also the first Indian channel to turn into a 'pay' channel.
