Zee Bangla the only regional, which grew by maximum margin 2006-2007.
 
It outperforms not only Bangla channels but also Star Plus in prime time across all TGs.

Zee Bangla is the only Bangla channel to have grown , while Star Plus and Sony has degrown by 23% and 37% respectively.
 
Zee Bangla has displaced Kahani/Kyunki (Star Plus), Bornishikha / Megbalika (ETV Bangla) at 22 hrs with Sa Re Ga Ma and Mirrakkel .
 
KBC was also not able to make a dent into Zee Bangla audiences.Whereas the leading competitor showed a declined trend post KBC.
 
The average TVR of the top three programs of Zee Bangla has grown by 175%, while ETV Bangla and Star Plus has degrown.
 
The Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Grand Finale of Zee Bangla is considered to be amongst the top three events of 2006-2007 from amongst all Bangla channels and even that of Mainline.
 
From amongst the top performing events in regional space , the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa finals is only second to Sun TV.
 
Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and Mirakkel are the two top programmes by far across Bangla Television Industry.
 
Apart from these two prgrammes the soaps like "Khela", "Erao Shatru" and "Raat Bhor Brishti" are the leaders in their respective timeslots.
 
Programmes like "Sona Bouthan", "Rani Kahini", "Kacher Manush", "Chorabali" successfully fulfill the need of Bengali viewers.
